@nicksortor In this case it sounded like one of the guys was actually breaking the law by reversing any EPA rules on engines, on hundreds of trucks. So increasing pollution for no good reason
@wyatt_claypool Likely Alberta will only mess with Aboriginal title and lawsuits for so long before cutting down to Washington state instead. Does anyone know if US state politics will be an issue?
@DividendBruh@WillieHandler Got 3 of them. Also last year took my son to drive through east Hastings, he had heard stories for years about me going to bars there with my wife who grew up in East Van. The 21 year old was shocked at what it looks like there
@WillieHandler I got 20. Great list though. Some are super historical for me though. Like bagged milk, back in the 70s in BC, and gone to Ottawa, that has been years
Listening to Johnny Cash San Quentin Prison album and when he calls up June Carter, I picture Reese Witherspoon. She must have been really great in that movie years back
@robinsonmeyer Another issue could be double or triple paned windows. I know living in Vancouver we had single panes but when in cold Calgary triple pane could stop heat or cold from getting in
@ErlingsTake@Irina_exh I am looking at your profile picture. I see you are around the same age as me. I am sure you remember that great song in 1981 that you loved to hear on the radio and recorded it on one of the double cassette decks on your boombox.
@sdoc23@geniebouchard We lived in Calgary for 30 years and AC was definitely needed in the Summer, unless you like to sleep in the basement for a few weeks
@HarryStebbings@typesfast My kids are grown up and I don’t have any office-like distractions like I have at the office. I think I can defend that wfh is very good
@MarioNawfal@officialrnintel In an active shooter situation I don't think you should be snaking up on the cops. This is a terrible situation all around
