Just in case it's not obvious, I don't spend a lot of time over here anymore. I've mostly moved my Twitter activity to the Zuckerberg Twitter platform, where you can find me as wrand.

I'll be stepping down as social media editor for IJRM in the near future so at the recent editorial board meeting, Martin Schreier, the outgoing editor presented me with a temporary tattoo to commemorate my time here.
@mbatikas@Delta@airfrance Wow that's a new twist. I didn't even see these posts probably because Twitter knew they were scams. @delta didn't reply either.
I might as well just buy directly from @airfrance now rather than @delta since the Delta purchase gets me no benefits and the AF ticket is often cheaper.
.@Delta Love you guys but these new sky club rules make no sense. I'm on a Delta marketed intl flight operated by Air France. I'm a platinum medallion with an @amex platinum and somehow I have no Sky club access. You are literally trying to turn away your high revenue customers.
The @delta sky club manager just told me that the only reason to buy a ticket through @delta is the miles since I don't really need the miles I'll be booking directly with @airfrance going forward.
Now I've been told I can't use a guest pass because guest passes can only be used when I am eligible to access the lounge even though the terms specifically say they are eligible for code share flights.

I had the pleasure of reading a pre-release version of this book. If you are interested in the intersection of socioeconomic inequality and pandemics, then this is a must read.
How do we make society more resilient to outbreaks and protect the marginalized and all of society from harm?

This is an absurd policy. I once had a convo with a lawyer from the FTC that told me that I shouldn't worry about breaking ToS b/c (1) they are written to allow the company to prevent you from doing anything you want
Non-sensical policy by @ama_journals, who ask authors to make sure scraping data from a website does not violate the website's term of use: https://t.co/brNzbNVpZi
(2) academic societal benefits easily outweigh any damage to the company. Moreover academic research very rarely harms the company in any way. Moreover, @ama_journals policy says that a ToS can be completely illegal and we still have to abide by it?
