Kraken only listed KAS/USD (as opposed to USDT) which is a low liquidity pair and as a result Kraken only has around 1% of daily KAS trading volume.

tho for based rollups to thrive you need onchain subsec (or 1-2 sec) conf times, thus it's hard to imagine eth or opcatted btc becoming a native ecosystem for based, teams building based will end up either introducing nonbased workarounds or migrating to chains with subsec
