PLEASE SHARE: A reminder that there will be a minute’s applause for lifelong #oafc supporter Darren Gardner (@Dazzergar1972) on the 53rd minute at tonight’s game against @Official_BRFC. Please join us in honouring Darren’s life.
Darren’s family will be in attendance as guests of @_OASF.
PLEASE SHARE: @_OASF were saddened to hear of the recent tragic passing of lifelong supporter, Darren Gardner (@Dazzergar1972). Darren lost his battle with cancer at the age of 53 earlier this month. To honour Darren, we’d like to encourage all #oafc supporters to join in with a minute’s applause in the 53rd minute at tomorrow night’s game against Bristol Rovers. Darren’s family will be in attendance.
Once a blue, always a blue.
My stepdad Darren is the reason I’m a Latics supporter, a lot of happy memories following #oafc were either spent with him or because of him. In a strange way I owe my career to him, given he was the one that prompted and encouraged me to apply for the Ticket Office role at Oldham back in 2018.
He was a devoted husband to my mum and a loving father to my brother, who will both be at the game tomorrow evening. Unfortunately I’m called away to Istanbul for work, but I hope that those in attendance will come together with my mum and brother to celebrate a true loyal blue by giving him the round of applause he deserves on the 53rd minute.
Me and my family cannot thank the club enough for everything they have done throughout both his illness and now, as well as for the joy (although not always!) he had throughout his life supporting @OfficialOAFC.

@WorsleyRed@GaryKirby28 Hi, I’m the Head of Ticketing at NFFC. Can you please email [email protected] on this?
Every ticket cancellation we get is listed back online for sale. Why would we deliberately choose not to resell it? It’s likely someone has purchased it and then sat elsewhere.
95 seconds where I and 21,000 others were in another state of existence, still can’t quite believe it and don’t think anything will ever come close although hope I’m wrong! Give me more days like that please 💙 #oafc
@kieranmcandrew Maybe they’ll announce early bird extension, Pett signing two year deal, Norwood extension and everything else, that’ll do the trick to get those sales back in 😂
@kieranmcandrew Tbf there will be card processing fees as well as likely fees that they have to pay to the ticketing provider for Season Cards being processed on the system, that’s how it is with most ticketing companies. Shouldn’t be a significant enough sum though to warrant not going on sale.
@kieranmcandrew Only thing I can think is that it’s been put forward as a suggestion to extend it but is pending approval, which is why it’s been turned off in the meantime. Only reason should go off sale though is if they’re not selling anymore and I doubt they’ll be doing that.
@kieranmcandrew Agree completely mate, would hope there’s a legitimate reason and that they are going to extend the price freeze and didn’t want people buying at full price just to have to then refund & reprocess - you’re still right though that it’s a missed opportunity!
Let’s do all we can to support the lads today. If we go 1-0 down, let’s make sure the noise is even more raucous. It’s our time but we have to do our part, be the 12th man, and rid that “curse” affiliated with Latics by roaring the side to success. COME ON OLDHAM!!!! 💙💙💙 #oafc
For the amount of years its been since our last visit to Wembley
On the 31st minute, we call on everyone to join in singing 'Frank & Judith's Blue & White army'
Without them, we potentially wouldn't even have a club & we owe them 1 minute out of the day to say thank you
#OAFC
3⃣4⃣ In December, Mike Fondop put the number up on his fridge to remind him how many years it's been since Oldham won promotion.

@486_JR@Matthew1Cooke@OAFCTickets Hopefully not but can understand why people are concerned. There should be contingencies in place to prevent it, maybe not postcode but instead restricting email addresses that weren’t on the database prior to last Tuesday from buying, or something else.
