@realDonaldTrump Trump still has not declared a national emergency that would activate FEMA for the WHO declared coronavirus pandemic because he is afraid of the optics. Trump is also injecting 1.5 trillion into a mangled economy to help the wealthiest CEOs but doesn’t care about the uninsured.
@realDonaldTrump President Barack Obama and VP Joe Biden handled the H1N1 swine flu epidemic by declaring a national emergency when there were only 20 confirmed cases of it in the US. Also, the stock market did not plummet like a rock back then and actually went into a sustained recovery.
@AndrewYang You didn't endorse Joe when he asked you last week, bc you thought Bernie still had a chance
But after last night's loss, the writing's on the wall. Biden will be the nominee. And you kept your word, knowing that it would be unpopular
Thank you for being a man of integrity
#BREAKING: Authorities say a man with coronavirus ignored instructions to self-isolate pending test results, instead working several shifts at Hobart's Grand Chancellor Hotel.
A former Bernie employee is using our virtual phonebank tool to call voters and tell them Joe Biden has dementia — and is live-streaming it. We’ll cut him off in a little bit but I figured it’s worth everyone seeing this stuff in action.

What if the US did temporary @AndrewYang-style payments to everyone over 18? Not primarily as stimulus, but for public health. People perhaps more likely to do social distancing if they don’t have to worry about not getting paid.
Republican are talking about bailing out the airlines and oil companies. How about a bail-out for middle-class and poor folks who can’t pay their medical bills? 🥺
Since @AndrewYang, who fought for #UBI, is no longer on the debate stage, we must—all of us—continue to raise the issue of Guaranteed Annual Income. This is critical for the 2020 election, and important to so many voters. #DemDebate
How tense? At one point Cenk threw his papers on the ground. At another, he reprimanded a staffer he saw smiling. "We generally feel disappointed, but unshaken," a staffer told me.
NEW: In a tense all-hands meeting, Cenk Uygur urged staff at The Young Turks not to form a union, arguing the progressive network couldn't sustain one. "The reality is we're in a precarious position," Cenk told me. https://t.co/1dlN2rVdOS
Thanks to the #FreedomDividend we were able to be prepared for that 'unexpected $500 expense' today when the furnace went out. Breaks my heart that this isn't going to be reality for everyone quite as soon as we had hoped. But, it will happen.
