@Pancreassassin@insulincyborg Yes, was coming on to say this. I heard pork/bovine insulin sometimes viable for those with allergies to synthetic insulin
Itโs everywhere ๐
Yup - even @LEGO_Group
And indeed that is a sensor on the blonde ladies armโฆ๐

@ALDiabetesUK Hi there - struggling to get through via phone or email. Have ordered repeat insulin pump supplies via your form but not had the usual confirmation. Can you help?
@thisislaurent Feel like I have seen a similar headline countless times in the past 8 years. At what point is the negative impact of these doom ridden headlines balanced against their effectiveness? Because they donโt seem to be doing much good.
@Rachy_Lou84@SqueakyLJR@parthaskar@DiabetesUK They should have sought your advice about what would make him comfortable and you might have suggested alerts on vibrate for example. My son will sit his GCSEs in a separate room so he can deal with his number and take breaks, but also because the alerts would be distracting
@Rachy_Lou84@SqueakyLJR@parthaskar@DiabetesUK I think school have handled it badly. I remember my 8 year (pre cgm) being told he would only be allowed his blood glucose monitor in a music theory exam if he could do it quietly ๐ก 1/2
@BootsUK my daughter had a skin reaction to the adhesive in these plasters. Itโs the first time sheโs reacted to adhesive (age 11). Can you point me to info on what the adhesive contains and any alternatives?
@NativveResearch Very conflicted about this research. My daughter who is eligible is mature enough to have decided she doesn't want to participate which I think is the right decision. Without significant psychological support, it's a hell of a Damocles sword to deal with.
@MAbsoud @itvnews Iโve reported this tweet. Deliberately and persistently minimising or denying the experiences of people with long covid is ablist and harmful.
