You can visualize images through terminal by enabling x11 service (probably xming).Now say we hv to visualize an image called sample.png, we just call the below command

display sample.png

The x11 window will pop up with image.

To exit a terminal without saving the commands to bash history, use the below command:

kill-9 $$

It will close the shell immediately.

@biology_for at least, Perl is a powerful swiss army knife for any quick data processing task, has a well-hung comprehensive module eco-system, and is available on any unix* system. However, few jobs offers.

Apparently if you install any #R package through #conda, it wont install the latest version.

conda install -c r r-tidyr

has kept me with tidyr v0.8.0, but

conda install -c r r-tidyr=1.1.2

did the trick.
