I'm sure most of you are aware by now that a strong northerly wind will develop Sunday night into Monday bringing heavy snowfall to northern and central Scotland. Potential for a few wintry showers in Northern and Eastern England too. Quite the shock to the system! #uksnow
@CaravansKids@rob3047@CampAndCaravan Please give us a call or email as we will try to accommodate (even at short notice) if we can.... It's just because of the covid situation we have a five day in advance recommendation 👍
This message can't be shared enough...please refrain from having BBQs, campfires & controlled burns whilst the fire risk and escalation risk is so extremely high. It's overwhelming how quickly these can spread out of control in the hot, dry conditions that we have at the moment.
Despite now entering day 10 at #WarehamForset, we have attended 8 Fires in the Open during the night, some of which were caused by disposable BBQ's in bins. Again, please, DO NOT have a BBQ unless its in your own garden at home.
🚨 Our HVP Crew have now been working round the clock 24/7 for the past 5 days supplying vital water supplies to the Wareham Forest Fire in Dorset.
The HVP (High Volume Pump) pumps water over long distances providing a continuous water supply where Hydrants are not available.
Yesterday a firefighting helicopter arrived from our colleagues from Wales and its being deployed again today.
This is the first time a helicopter has been used in the county to help fight a fire.
The fire has been upgraded to 25 pumps again today because of the high winds.
Come on guys, do we really need to tell you to stay away from a forest fire? This is not only for your safety, but for that of our crews who are already working very hard in arduous conditions. Help us out by staying away, thank you.

1/2 We, like many others are utterly heartbroken at the huge loss of wildlife in #Wareham Forest yesterday.
This is a small selection of the many creatures that will have lost their lives in the #wildfire. Many would have had young or eggs that would have been unable to escape.
❗️Update❗️Around 50 firefighters have been at #WarehamForest overnight but we’ll be scaling back up today. There are still lots of #fireengines, about five miles of hose laid out and hotspots can flare up with little to no warning so PLEASE help us by staying away. #thankyou
NEWS: A satellite image has revealed the extent of the #Wareham Forest fire in #Dorset was bigger than first thought. The flames burned 190 hectares of heath and woodland. @ForestryEngland says it could take decades for the habitat to recover.
