@tsoding I think there needs to be a balance. Moving fast and breaking shit brings innovation -- but also having a team dedicated to fixing shit and keeping it focused is just as important.
Breaking shit is only good if you are making sure to trail it with fast moving fixes and focus.
This is how to do blockchain right: consumers shouldn't need to know a thing about it, or that it's even involved, on the backend. Transparent Usage is the way.
Nobody gives a shit about blockchains, but they sure care about paying for stuff easily. THAT is what grows adoption.
Dusk Pay blurs the lines between traditional payment rails and blockchain.
You don't need to know anything about blockchain to use it.
We're not trying to teach your grandma how to make an on-chain transaction. We're creating a system she can use with ease.
Web2-like UX upfront, decentralized blockchain in the back.
Hey @PeteHegseth @SecDef, can I get an endorsement from you for my AutoChat encrypted chat service? I'll make it gov't use compliant, and idiot proof it for you so you can't accidentally spill classified materials to the media! I'll send you some whiskey.
We are in Bulgaria for a week of cryptography!
Our team will be attending 4 events; @Zcash Dev Summit, @zkproof 7 event, HACS, and the Real World Crypto Symposium.
Say "hi" if you are attending and want to talk about ZKPs, privacy, RWAs, and institutional adoption.
Yesterday we at @DuskFoundation released Rusk v1.2, our latest protocol upgrade: https://t.co/xf8rv2od7s
It ships with Piecrust v0.28, delivering a 2.3x performance boost in VM execution time for blocks with 8-16k contracts deployed on our network.
This doesn't increase TPS directly, but it frees up headroom, reduces block building time, and helps us scale the network more sustainably as the state of the network grows.
Since we use Merkle trees, the cost of mutating state eventually plateaus. Now that baseline cost is significantly lower, giving us more room to grow and maybe even increase the gas limits further down the line, leading to more TPS.
In the image below you can see the execution time improvements across different release candidates. v0.28.0-rc6 is the version we promoted to v0.28.0.
Huge thanks to @milosz290 for making this happen, and to @herrseppia for the extensive testing and benching.
@chamath They should, with due process though. That's the point.
But Trump already pardoned them, even after the Jan 6 Committee showed-- oh, you dont mean THOSE domestic terrorists. Those are the ones you like. My B.
So Trump's Commerce secretary says if Social Security skipped a check and you complain then you're probably a fraudster. What the actual fuck, @GOP?

#MAGA aren't just dumb, they're flat-out assholes.
We believe you should be able to participate in finance, not only as an investor but as an infrastructure provider.
Currently, a few regulated entities make a lot of money providing these services.
We think you should be able to as well.
Great click from the convo between our CEO Emanuele, @Autholykos, and @papiofficial.
@farzyness@Tim_Walz Crown Jewels lol
I'm sure you didn't complain about when Bud was boycotted, or Target, or any other company you disagreed with, huh?
You worked for a greedy twat that's intentionally trying to wreck the country. Boohoo.
