Bitcoin is really spreading, you can feel it.
Yesterday in Ouagadougou 🇧🇫, we had a meetup with #SatsOnTheRoad and @Bitcoin_Burkina and people showed up properly.
No hype, just real interest. People asking questions and trying to understand Bitcoin.
I told them something simple that they don’t have to wait for the perfect time to get into Bitcoin, they should just start and one of the best ways is by volunteering.
You learn faster that way, you get experience and you actually become part of what’s going on.
And I also told them straight that if you really want to benefit from Bitcoin, don’t go and start chasing shitcoins.
You can’t say you believe in something and still be distracted.
Burkina Faso surprised me though compared to what I read on mainstream media, it’s a very calm place, people are welcoming and it feels safe, the only problem is the heat 😅
Africa is already catching on.
I’ll share highlights from @btcafrique soon
You Don’t Need ₦96,000,000 to Own Bitcoin.
You just need $1 and consistency.
Here’s the smartest ways to start saving in Bitcoin.
It’s called DCA — Dollar Cost Averaging
Buy a fixed amount of Bitcoin at regular intervals.
No timing the market. No stress. Just consistency.
“Invest only what you can afford to lose.”
We say it. But do we mean it?
Most people blow up their portfolio because they invest rent money, not excess cash.
Protect yourself first.
The real strategy?
→ Identify periods when you have excess cash
→ Take what you don’t need
→ Head over to @Mavapay_Money to convert your cash to Bitcoin and move it straight to your self-custody wallet, or use @Bitnob_official to set up an automated DCA plan that purchases Bitcoin on your preferred schedule, completely hands-free.
→ Don’t touch it
That’s it. That’s the thread.
Bitcoin rewards two types of people:
✅ Those with low time preference
✅ Those with patience to play the long game
Even $1 a day = $365 a year in BTC.
Start small. Stay consistent. Think long.
🚨@HRF’s Bitcoin Development Fund is pleased to announce grants of 1.5 billion satoshis in support of 26 projects worldwide
These initiatives support #Bitcoin development, education, privacy, self-custody & freedom tech to advance civil liberties & challenge authoritarianism https://t.co/ATA8HyTGcw
The flaw is confusing divisibility with supply. Bitcoin's total supply is hard-capped at 21 million BTC—that's the real scarcity. Dividing it into smaller units (like satoshis) doesn't create more Bitcoin; it just allows finer transactions. It's like splitting a pizza into more slices: you still have the same pizza, not more food.
A new year opens a fresh page to write a beautiful story, one full of possibility, growth, and new decisions.
As you write your story for the year ahead, we hope Bitcoin becomes part of your journey toward freedom, inclusion, and long term value.
Bitcoin for Financial Inclusion (BitFi) wishes you a happy, purposeful, and prosperous New Year
Merry Christmas from Bitfi 🎄
Grateful for everyone choosing Bitcoin over noise, conviction over hype, and long-term thinking over shortcuts.
Here’s to sound money and true financial freedom.

Across Africa, women remain some of the most financially excluded groups.
Many still can’t access formal banking, face higher borrowing barriers, and depend on systems that limit their economic freedom. Yet women are the backbone of markets, households, and entire communities.
So what happens when they finally get access to open, borderless money that anyone can use—anytime, anywhere?
Join us for a focused conversation on “Bitcoin’s Role in Empowering Women in Africa.”
We’ll explore the real stories, real challenges, and real opportunities shaping women’s financial independence across the continent with @pameelaposada , a Bitcoin-only YouTube Strategist who is empowering women to build financial freedom through Bitcoin communities with @SistersoSatoshi and around Latin America.
Whether you care about economic empowerment, financial inclusion, or the future of money—this is a room you should not miss.

Just one week away! We’re excited to have an amazing few days with builders, leaders and visionaries from across Africa and around the world at @AfroBitcoinOrg in Mauritius this week. We will top this all off by a powerful and inspiring day of learning and collaboration at the Africa Bitcoin Circular Economies Summit on Dec 6, led by @BitcoinBeach and @FBCEglobal. If you are at #ABC25 #ABC2025 and want to know more, connect with us!
From El Zonte 🇸🇻 to Port Louis 🇲🇺
The Bitcoin Circular Economies Summit is coming to Africa. 🌍
On December 6, 2025, leaders from across the continent will meet in Port Louis, Mauritius, to share what they’ve built, exchange hard-earned lessons, and strengthen a movement that’s growing one community at a time.
We’ve seen it firsthand: there’s no substitute for sitting with people who understand your day-to-day—who’ve built from scratch, who’ve failed and iterated, who’ve faced the same doubts and kept going.
That’s what this summit is about. Real work. Shared progress. ⚡
If you’re working on a Bitcoin project in Africa and will be in Mauritius in December, send us a message. Let’s chat!
