- will be studying biomed @deakin, majoring in medical biotech

- focused on changing the way we manufacture food with cellular agriculture, precision fermentation, etc.

- super excited in mastering cell & tissue engineering and developing the core foundations needed to advance agri and food tech from a medical biotech lens

- was studying ag @ northern lodge for the past two months (check out the fun i've had on insta @ https://t.co/xaX3yJlWem) and learned things from cropping, cattle, agronomy to ag machinery (premium farmhand/rancher training if you will)

- looking forward to the continuous collaboration with @ChainstackHQ (thanks to @icepunx), @DewhalesCapital (thanks to @Mut_eth) and @coingecko (thanks to @heyjules27)

- my newsletter @StablesMusings will be on hiatus for the foreseeable future as I try to survive my first trimester (recently posted on "After the casino")

Tonga is an example of the downside of relying on correspondent banking.

Remittances make up ~42% of GDP (the highest in the world), and both remittances and trade depend on reliable access to USD.

Since 2011, over 60% of USD correspondent banking relationships in the Pacific have disappeared, affecting the ability to move money, pay suppliers, and stay connected to global markets.

A topic close to home for me, while stablecoin infrastructure could ease a lot of this stress, regulatory frameworks across the Pacific are still developing and fragmented.

USD correspondent banking in the Pacific has dropped 60% since 2011. Tonga's importers can't reliably pay suppliers in Singapore. Two local banks have already lost their USD accounts.

But @DigicelTO MyCash already moves money across Tonga, the National Reserve Bank of Tonga is actively exploring fintech solutions, and licensed off-ramps like Triple-A handle the SGD and USD exit leg.
