Dartford Warbler 🌼
I know what you're thinking, yes I'm still alive and yes I still like birds. Last year was a bit less nature-y than I had planned. But this year I'm going to try and get back out there exploring and I really want to dust off that camera.
Watch this space!
Couldn't resist a trip to see @BCConservators newest grazer gang just round the corner from work. They all ran over to me in a line and I felt like a shepherd or Babe the pig, but something tells me they were just hungry. A great addition to the common
HAPPY CHRISTMAS! I haven't been out bird bothering as much as I would have liked this year & have basically been non existent on here. I've had a wild 2023 but I'll be back with a bang next year, I promise. I'll see ya there 👋
Another day goes by without a bearded tit in my life but Stodmarsh Nature Reserve is truly a beauty. Bonus points for a beautiful brief moment with a marsh harrier

@sferguk@GibsonTomgibo@NaturalEngland Sadly no time on this wee trip but I need to pay the Shepherd Neame brewery a visit and that's only round the corner so seems like an excellent double whammy.
@GibsonTomgibo@NaturalEngland Always the way! I've got Dungeness on my list for the next try. I just happened to be visiting here and thought I might get lucky but sadly today wasn't the day! Maybe next time 😜
What do you mean you waited for this lesser whitethroat to come out of hiding for a ridiculously long amount of time, repeatedly saying 'just five more minutes', only to not post it for 6 months.
Yeah, that sounds about right. Soz about me.

@surreywallcreep @WildLondon @CanalRiverTrust I did exactly the same! Had a delicious hoppy red ale in the sun with my new book in Coal Drops Yard and was very content.
I went to the canal wildlife pop-up exhibition at the London Canal Museum yesterday followed by @WildLondon's Camley Street Natural Park. It was the most wholesome of days 🌞🛶
