@Obolatcan24 Nobody’s “noticing and calling it out” lol. You and Reddick are grasping at straws bc it’s the only recourse you have while watching a vastly inferior team attempt to compete with the world champs. It’s such a mismatch basketball-wise, you have to pacify yourself with excuses.
@big_business_ The Lakers are lucky this game wasn’t on ESPN bc Chuck, Shaq and Kenny would’ve roasted them into oblivion.
Have some self-respect, take your Ls like men. This is so embarrassing and immature. 🤦♂️
@HotHandTheory More than anything, NBA fans just want their team to win - period.
When they don’t, they blame the refs, rules or anything else to cope.
@AndrewDBailey If you’re having a “difficult viewing experience”watching basketball, you should just turn it off. Go watch anything else. The NBA isn’t for you and that’s ok.
What a first-world problem to have.
@BillSimmons Refs shouldn’t call it if the defender is in legal guarding position, but you kinda have to call it if they get beat but continue to run into the ball-handler while out of position.
Can’t incentivize illegal, bad defense. That’s not a solution or something anyone wants to watch.
@Spacechimp84@NBACouchside I just don’t think OKC’s that much smarter than the rest. They’re a bunch of young try-hards who give effort defensively every night. That’s the big difference, not the manner in which they’re officiated.
@DanielMarg56584@DistGains1000@awfulannouncing I’m sorry the people you play with are babies. With that knowledge, I don’t recommend contact of any kind.
But glad you play ball and I encourage you to keep playing as long as you can!
@skolvikings@DistGains1000@awfulannouncing That was never the subject of this conversation, til now…but if you’re suggesting Ant’s obvious offensive foul *shouldn’t* be called because Murray got away with a subtle, ineffective grab, then we’ll agree to disagree!
@DistGains1000@awfulannouncing You notice the nuance, I notice the nuance, anyone who still plays ball knows the difference. The casuals and untrained eyes don’t recognize the difference and, sadly, Doris sounds more like the latter with each passing day.
