I'm late to #NationalPuppyDay, but here's a photo of the first time I ever met @BriscoMutt, at the @AtlantaHumane Society in 2012.
Look at those ears! Look at that smile! How could I *not* adopt him?
@King_Shark02@BuHarilife It's a movie, and you're overthinking it. Tony invented time travel while doing the dishes.
Thanos and his "children" had advanced knowledge, advanced tech, and years or possibly decades if necessary. They figured it out.
@mandy22baker@pokerorg@FirstLadyPoker Linda Johnson deserves ALL the respect and ALL the accolades. She's done far more for poker (both in public and behind the scenes) than most people know.
@gosh_sol_eth 1) Actors get paid residuals. Those lead actors still received PLENTY of nice checks from those reruns.
2) Julia Louis-Dreyfus proved most of this clip's predictions wrong. She's no longer associated most strongly with Seinfeld, and her career went on to even greater heights.
@Mini_Ender@AspirinJuice425 Unless you live in a house with an ever-rotating cast of strangers, using method number 3 will quickly train your housemates to lock the bathroom door when they want privacy. It's not complicated.
@ChonkiestChonks@leemarh7099 This makes WAY more sense than the idea that they'd never ONCE check on her brother at night.
As soon as they saw Ron spending the night with someone named "Peter," they'd make note of it. When it was every. single. night. they'd make note of that too. It's very abnormal.
@Mini_Ender@AspirinJuice425 Other ways to know it's unoccupied:
(1) Know the location of the other people in the house. You may have all been watching TV together.
(2) Knock and ask if anyone is in there.
(3) Try the handle. If it's locked, somebody is in there. If it's unlocked, it's unoccupied.
@Jarsallen11@BartHanson For example, tell me what you think the worst case scenario is for Hunter Biden, and explain to me how that's worse than what Trump's close family is doing in plain daylight.
@Jarsallen11@BartHanson So with Trump controlling all three branches of government, why aren't hey going after anyone?
Where are the legitimate investigations based on evidence rather than wishful thinking?
@MuffinsNsuch If every house gives out the same stuff in the same quantities, trick-or-treating becomes more of a chore than the exciting roll of the dice, and the experience of older kids guiding younger ones on which houses to skip and which to go out of your way for.
@MuffinsNsuch Their policy suggestion sucks.
Why not just create a pre-filled bag with equitable amounts of candy so each child can get the exact same amount without the dangers of walking the streets at night?
Because that would take ALL THE FUN out of Halloween!
@TerroirDuGolfe@tjnerdlantis You honestly thought Trump won the popular vote while *losing* elderly voters? You should stop discussing politics publicly until you read a bunch of books.
@DianaMonnette@neoavatara Yeah, this wasn't an honest mistake.
It was a willful "mistake," and they're only apologizing because they've been informed there's a world of difference between lying about a political candidate and lying about a wealthy corporation.
See also, Fox News and Dominion.
@KurosaiSenpai It's not about tough choices, it's about engagement.
So many of these are variations of "Would you rather do this really difficult thing, or be paid $1 million to do this really easy thing?"
@reddit_lies That's not Reddit as a whole, that's a specific and extreme subreddit. It's not representative of anything else.
Thats like me claiming it "according to Twitter/X," because I saw that post here.
@slaterqinni I don't think I've ever seen that, but she is so damn good at playing Jenna Maroney.
For me, her most iconic moment is early in the show when Jack quizzes her to verify her age, ending with:
Jack: "Theater or drive-in?"
Jenna: [Pause] "What's a drive-in?"
