@PotusFour@20th_Centurygal My wife and I enjoyed them so much we bought tickets for their next appearance at Red Rocks in 2020, but it was cancelled due to Covid. Held on to the tickets for 2021, but that one was cancelled as well! Finally made it to their sold out Red Rocks concert in 2022. Fantastic!
@Flyers391@uscfan981 Agreed. “Light My Fire” always sounded like a half drunk lounge singer performing at the local Motel 6 backed by his nephew playing a K- Mart brand keyboard.
@RacerMotors_Inc @SimpleCRE I remember! It was the closest donut shop to us in Decatur, GA when I was a kid in the 1960s. We jokingly called it “Wister Donut” because of how the M was drawn. I loved the solid chocolates.
@GPAIndiana That looks like a Pearl Presidente tiger or “tiger eye” finished drum kit. I believe the Presidente line was a lower cost alternative within the Pearl line, but they had some of the most stunning wraps in all of drumdom. Nice playing and remarkable kit!
@LouisWei8@LindyTasteful I have lived in the ATL my entire life as well. That accent is not common here, but I suspect it is a regional Texas southern accent.
@datdankid@tuuu28283 Those look fantastic. There is a Kansas based chain called Freddy’s that has several locations in the Atlanta area. They use these same buns. Woolworth’s also served these at the lunch counter when I was a kid in the 60s. Superior to the common grocery store buns.
