@Daily_Yuno The show is full of subliminal messages, the signs all saying "hurry up", and then it flashes canned noodle soup (important).

SteamDB 6 meses após ser comprado pelo Nexus😅

@AuronMacintyre They believe that luck is not only real but THE divine force in their lives.
You're looking at a religion from the outside.

Goodbye SteamDB.

[Pirat_Nation 🔴 @Pirat_Nation]

Bad news, Nexus Mods has acquired SteamDB, one of the most useful tools for tracking Steam games

SteamDB creator xPaw is stepping back after years of running the site largely on his own, he said the growing workload eventually led to burnout, and he wanted to find a team he could trust to take the project forward.

The bigger plan is to connect SteamDB’s game version and update data with Nexus Mods.

@BigBoris_2 After many years I am finally rewatching Evangelion because of you. Maybe I'll even understand it this time (I won't).

I just saw a youtube comment where someone wrote 'wow' as "uau".

@BanAllBooks For all intensive purposes it's a doggy dog world.

My new year's resolution was to stop rewatching my favourite anime over and over and watch new stuff instead.
But Kino no Tabi keeps getting better every time I watch it.

[メソウサ @mesousa_dept]

@HidamariSneed You make that seem like a bad thing.

@EmperorSpica_45 The wokes have this bonkers headcanon where Japanese people spontaneously started celebrating Christmas one day and nobody in Japan is smart enough to understand what it means.

[メソウサ @mesousa_dept]

The movie: Everyone fights, no one quits
The book: You're not citizen material, please quit
The anime: power armour is cool, dudes rock

The scene with the veteran at recruiting isn't satirical either. In one part because it's a scene from the book devoid of it's narrative context that the Federation puts wounded veterans up front to scare potential recruits into quitting. Because they only want people who are deadly serious about signing up.

The other is that I've know men in the military who've taken grievous, career ending injuries and would say the same thing. It's only satirical to a European like Verhoeven who has no mental concept of pride in one's nation and being willing to defend it with your own body.
