@mradamwelcome @JasonReynolds83@KielyBrendan Such an amazing book. Highly recommended as well. I had it in my classroom library until I read it. I took it out because of the bad words, but wish I didnโt have to or is it possible to put it back in. ๐
@mikeemetcalf I always wanted to create cards that had a dual purpose where they could be used as a card game, but can't wrap my head around it. How does your deck battles work? Btw love how thematic your cards are. Definitely works out being a MS teacher!
@mikeemetcalf@glideapps Yea I skipped gamification last year unfortunately since it was all online. I think I am going to let them buy the packs and I'll just add in in their app and if they craft I'll remove the cards and add the crafted card. There aren't enough rows.
Q2: Different privelages and perks for students, damage multipliers, tricks on other ss. Ss use cards to craft other cards. Was thinking about some kind of way to make cards stronger or even using cards to craft buildings that give them more resources. #xplap
A4) My students put their cards in a 9 pocket holder, sometimes they put them in their desk, but can earn more holders. I have my "shop" which I keep stocked up and it has the cards that can be traded up. Common materials are in a container waiting to be made into packs. #xplap
A3: My cards have color coded borders and they know when cards can be used. Some during a normal school day, during boss battles, guild wars, battle grounds. Most of the cards are one time use unless stated on card. #XPLAP
