the best way to experience what it's like to be VIP9 on Binance is simply to trade on Solana
Markouts for SOL/USDC trades in epoch 940 against Binance mid, incl of fees, show us that routing through titan or jup to a prop AMM will generally give you a better price than any CEX
If you're moving in size onchain in Solana, the only option to guarantee the best prices is through @Titan_Exchange DART.
The only onchain router that guarantees that your fill is executed against the best quotes right at execution time. The real OGs know.
Trending tab on @tokens is using trading data indexed by @bl8_runner 🔥
Powerful data imo, you can see some buts specific to mint if its available on the individual tokens page.
Also available thru API now 🙂
Perpetuals are one of the most important financial primitives in crypto.
Solana makes it viable to run them fully onchain, without sacrificing the performance real participants and institutions require.

> The real story of this era will be who manages to avoid harming themselves in their AI psychosis.
this checks out and i see this in a few programmers and non-programmers i have met over the years. programmers feel they can do everything themelves. non-programmers suddenly feel they can program production code. LLM psychosis induces hybris, should be met with humility, IMO.
> Without fully endorsing all their ideas, I’m now in the LeCun/Marcus camp on LLMs. I don’t think models like this will ever be able to program, I think the process matters. I think that deep learning is still the solution, but real programming agents will need world models, not some RLVR shit that comments out the failing test and tells you all the tests are now passing.
i dont know enough about world models (but i will study up now!) but i think the part about "LLMs get 80% right and then screw up the polish" is consistent with my experience and i wonder if it's a fundamental limit
i don't know if i resonate so much with george's writings because we have the same name or believe similar things, or because i used limera1n as a kid but the last few writings hit the spot for me

The best price for spot SOL, BTC, and ZEC is on Solana.
Now the game is simply tokenization + sourcing liquidity to reproduce this for all spot assets + getting this in front of users.
Fills are even better than offchain. Do you realize how incredible that is?
Decentralized/open infra produces better outcomes. It just takes more time. It took 6 years for Solana DeFi.
Long term games.
The best place to trade $BTC is starting to be @solana.
In Jupiter cbBTC-USDC $5k to $20k fills, both buyer and seller medians have recently moved below zero, meaning users are getting outright price improvement versus the pre-fill Binance reference before even counting Binance fees.
The improvement also coincides with prop AMM share picking up.
The next question is when does price discovery start to move onchain?
Of 21 SOL/USDC trades on SOL, 1 had a worse fill compared to Binance (-0.20 bps)
Solana is the best place to trade spot in crypto. Soon JTX will prove that
The best place to trade @Zcash is starting to be @solana.
Across $500 to $3k ZEC/USDC fills this year, Solana beat Binance’s executable ZEC/USDC book by ~7 bps at the median versus VIP 9 and won ~62% of comparisons.
The comparison replays Binance’s ZEC/USDC order book and walks the same zcash:native size immediately before each Solana fill.
Still small clips, but a real signal that long-tail execution is starting to move onchain.
Everything @mert could ask for.
@uriklarman@yo_itsmatt i think cex volumes are probably stickier today, because to switch you have to withdraw from the exchange. there are other benefits to like vip tier.
dex can do similar, but i think the switching cost between aggs is lower bc its just the same assets on solana
drew this up for @yo_itsmatt this am to illustrate to why Solana beating CEX in spot is inevitable
On Solana, traders interact DIRECTLY with the market maker
3.4 bps goes back to the user and MM, resulting in better prices for the user, and more revenue for the MM
Over the past few years I've traded serious volume across almost every CEX and most Perp DEXs
I spent hundreds of days (and nights) looking at trading interfaces
This past week put @PhoenixTrade on the map but I've been using it for the past month, and here's my honest product feedback as trader:
What I like ↓
1/ Chart defaults and display - The chart is beautiful. A lot of exchange really mess this up. The 1h default is correct view to land on, the last/mark price toggle is useful, volume shading is subtle and non-intrusive, and candle PA is clean. All this just makes me happy.
2/ The on-chart UX - Position tracking directly on the chart appears while entering the order and liquidation level adjusts in real time as size and margin are adjusted. Very cool. Chart scaling feels smooth and responsive, no complaints here at all. Top notch stuff.
3/ Asset navigation - The asset ribbon gives you the right metrics (OI, Vol, Funding) at a glance and the text is very clean. The asset dropdown is easy to navigate, this is a small thing but so many exchange butcher the asset dropdown.
What needs work ↓
1/ The Leverage slider - A lot of people mentions this and its true imo. This feels like friciton. It fights muscle memory from every other platform I use. Plus fixed presets + direct input beats a scroll-based slider imo. This UI may be a technically better config but it's confusing.
2/ Open positions below the fold - A pet peeve but open positions should to be visible without scrolling. I know some platforms it's below the fold as well but for me I want to see the chart, orderbook, and positions in a single view without scrolling
3/ Design language - Some people may think design is a pet peeve too but it's not - design is critical and the soft edges with generous spacing read to me as consumer, app not serious trading terminal. I'd like to see tighter spacing all around and sharper edges on UI components.
Phoenix genuinely has a great product in the making, but it's still and they need to improve on asset offering and community building too.
But even so, it's good to see so many traders showing up to try a new Solana @perps platform
@TylerHODL17@therealchaseeb@yo_itsmatt try Solana!
The best place to buy SOL/ETH/BTC is on Solana
If your size is size, you should sign up at https://t.co/4Nv1QmNTSC, we're going to make being a whale on Solana better than being a whale anywhere else
@Chuzi_Defi@yo_itsmatt for the average click trader in combination with onchain routing (quickly becoming the standard on Solana), this will continue to be the case
