Can I ignore injustice?
Is anything I might lose really so important?

NIGERIAN BOY INVENTS GLASSES FOR THE BLIND
An African teenager has invented glasses that could revolutionise life for blind people. They have sensors that bleep to warn the wearer of nearby obstacles. 🇮🇹 Millicent Sanders, a textile designer-maker from Bradford, shares her Venice Biennale experience on our website’s new ‘Stories’ page:
"I spent my spare time exploring exhibitions, drawing and photographing the streets and seeing the city by boat. In the evenings I went to soundscapes, techno raves, beach parties, and street festivals."
While in Venice, Millie dedicated time to developing her own research project following the theme of the Biennales’ wider exhibition: ‘Stranieri Ovunque' or 'Foreigners Everywhere’.
"I have been collecting stories of Italian migrants who travelled to work in textiles mills across Bradford after World War II. Their children and families are part of a large community of Italians currently living in the Bradford district."
