@dannyboy7796@n4chtwind@NASA@NASA_Orion For sure. I’m excited none the less, I was still up at 1 am watching the launch, as I said I watched the approach, and the “earth set” as Orion went behind the moon I will admit was an incredible shot to watch live. Definitely better than nothing!
@dannyboy7796@n4chtwind@NASA@NASA_Orion Approach we didn’t even see the moon, just the earth. Yeah maybe Orion took photos we’ll get back later, but it’s not quite the same. I could see the moon out my window as Orion approached, it’s just more impactful live, or as live as possible given the constraints.
@dannyboy7796@n4chtwind@NASA@NASA_Orion Of course I know there’s issues getting stuff back from the moon right away, but they also lack at times when there wouldn’t be an issue, like at launch. They quickly switch to animation. I was also watching live as Orion came back from the far side of the moon. At the closest..
@dannyboy7796@n4chtwind@NASA@NASA_Orion Yeah who cares about inspiring future generations to continue the science. I remember growing up watching videos about the Saturn V, the moon landings, all that, it’s exciting. We have technology now to share far more than we did back then, but eh no big deal.
@dannyboy7796@n4chtwind@NASA@NASA_Orion Eh, there’s a reason spacex has a lot of fans, they get people excited about what they’re doing. The science is of course the priority, but we as American citizens are also funding it, and nasa really should do a better job at getting everyone excited, if anything to stay funded.
@Dsw5pdM52lljUhf @Politics_Polls@elonmusk No clue. I don’t have access to their finances. But all I know is cutting a ton of staff saves quite a bit of money, so that’s what I’m going off of. I’m not expecting him to have completely flipped it around to be profitable in a couple weeks, just saying he had to make changes.
@ChanceCatucci@Politics_Polls@elonmusk Maybe so. Soon enough though I’m sure the hype will be over about leaving Twitter. The woke companies and celebrities have to put on their show for now. I’ve already seen celebrities claim to have left and then start replying to Elon’s tweets a couple days later.
@carencey @NASASpaceflight Same.. I get that the closest approach was behind the moon but I was hoping at AOS we’d get a cool shot of as close as we could get to the moon
@Politics_Polls@elonmusk He seems to be doing well to me. Twitter was losing money. They needed change. Why did they have so much staff who just seemed to relax all day? He cut staff to those who actually want Twitter to succeed. He’s interacting with people in the comments, getting feedback and ideas..
@diannedawn@CJohnsonTC @rmayemsinger @mcuban@Twitter@elonmusk I’m not saying it was perfect but Twitter doesn’t have that feature currently, so he did what he was able. And honestly no I have no clue if the left came and closed the gap. It wasn’t that big of a deal, I didn’t watch the pole.
@diannedawn@CJohnsonTC @rmayemsinger @mcuban@Twitter@elonmusk Then it probably would have been more decisive. He can’t hold a real election, so i don’t know what more you could ask for.
@diannedawn@CJohnsonTC @rmayemsinger @mcuban@Twitter@elonmusk It’s literally just Twitter, it’s not that difficult. If people blocked him, that’s their problem. They removed themself from the conversation. He had a poll with over 15 million votes, and it was 52/48, it was close. If there was a huge problem of bots and nobody on the left..
@angryCOsnowman @seanhannity I mean it is though. The company was losing money. They knew with a new owner there would have to be changes. He offered them 3 months severance if they wanted to leave. It’s totally reasonable.
@KaoKacique@JpegUno@honestsportz@CultureCrave@alexeheath To be fair working multiple people jobs at Twitter vs most other places is probably much different if I’m going to go off the “day in the life” tiktoks I saw. Multiple peoples jobs probably still isn’t the work most of us do in a day. They’re just not used to it.
@LisaBloom Id hope even disabled people are working hard, to whatever extent that means for them, at any job they have. Disabled does not equal lazy. If they are committed to Twitter and giving it their best effort then that’s all you can ask.
@SnarkBolan @CNN It’s almost like he thinks and behaves differently than most of us because he has a mental disorder.. i guess it’s cool to make fun of people with mental disabilities when they’re rich.
