@UFLShadow@JCastroFLA And last but not least, having said all that, I still am a three time season ticket holder who drives 6 hours each way from Arkansas to make it to the Dome
So there are diehards lol
@UFLShadow@JCastroFLA In the case of the Battlehawks I do think a lot of the novelty has worn off. The F Kroenke stuff has gotten stale and the whole Rams thing
Now it’s about the team.
Honestly I’m kinda happy cuz the whole “pissed at Kroenke” thing was getting old fast. Now we build true fanbase
@UFLShadow@JCastroFLA And StL and Louisville looks to be fun.
Could have moved Houston over to San Antonio. Had StL, DC, SA, Dal, BHam, Mich, Louisville, and Columbus
I know there are venue and business factors that played into all of this but hey. We can dream
@UFLShadow@JCastroFLA And they never should have gotten rid of the Panthers. They should have dumped Memphis and Houston. In my opinion.
DC/StL
Mich/BHam
Rivalries get people engaged
@UFLShadow@JCastroFLA The only way to gain casuals is by making them care. The league needs human stories. People to root for and against. Underdogs. Villains.
The diehards care about the football. The casuals care about having something to do. So give the casuals a reason to care and go to the games
@JCastroFLA@UFLShadow This is a great point. I think the premise is flawed.
In the modern era there has never been been this huge demand for spring football. There is a core of diehards (myself included) and a crapload if casuals.
A lot of the casuals have moved on to other things. The league is ok
