In our mosque earlier today, the imam said that we should pray for Nigeria, that only prayers can salvage this nation.
One person at the last row stood up & said “the Saudi that we go for hajj & enjoy basic amenities there, they didn’t achieve that by prayers. They achieve that by competent leadership.”
😊😊😊
If you stand near faeces for a while, you stop smelling it. Not because it has stopped smelling but because you're now used to it.
Same way, if you tolerate rubbish for a while, it stops looking like rubbish to you.
There are millions of fathers who are strangers in their own homes. They leave before the kids wake up and return after they sleep, destroying their bodies to pay for good schools, vacations, and to make sure the home does not lack.
They hardly get to enjoy time alone to bond with their kids. The tragedy is that the family enjoys the lifestyle he provides but resents his absence.
He is hardly ever appreciated because he is unable to attend the school functions he paid for. He is viewed as an ATM, not a parent. He is funding a life that will eventually make him resented.
If you take away beer parlours, hotels, POS, and normal local markets, there's really no jobs in Nigeria; But rent nowadays is almost one million naira and above, within places where again, there are no high paying jobs opportunities. And minimum wage is less than N80k. Make it make sense.
When you want to collect tax, you cight example with countries like U.S and the U.K
When we ask you for what the U.S. and U.K. provide for their citizens, you say we don't understand the system of government .
😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
