Sweden has been found in breach of the right to health in Europe.

A landmark decision confirms that vulnerable EU migrants, many from Roma communities, have been denied equal access to healthcare, exposing a discriminatory two‑tier system.

Health is not a privilege. It is a fundamental human right. Governments cannot pick and choose who deserves care, especially not along lines of poverty, migration status, or ethnicity.

Sweden must act now to end discrimination and guarantee equal access to healthcare for all.

This is bigger than one country: it’s about whether Europe upholds its own human rights commitments.
