💭: are there any moments when you two are together and have absolutely nothing to talk about? what is the atmosphere like at those times and how do you feel?
🦈: i feel like moments such as when we’re sitting in a car or on a plane or basically anywhere where we have to sit together. sometimes, if we sit with someone we’re not close to, someone we’ve just met or don’t know, there’s this awkwardness, like do we have to start a conversation? will it be too quiet? if we don’t talk, will they think we’re being stuck up? or if we do talk, will they think we talk too much? but with william, i don’t feel that way anymore. i feel like there are so many moments where i just feel like we’re simply there, sitting together and that’s enough.
🎸: yeah it’s actually pretty similar for me. like sitting in the car or going shopping. sitting in the car, everyone might understand cuz we’ve probably talked about it many times but sitting in a car is quite a small space where the two of us are sitting together in the front seats, which can be quite difficult for people who have just met cuz you have to keep finding things to talk about, otherwise there’ll be dead air. it used to be like that for us too. but after that, it became like we could just sit there. neither of us had to feel that way anymore. some people might think “okay do i need to say something?” but actually, we don’t need to. we’re already comfortable. but when it comes to shopping, like going to buy something together, it’s just like, okay we each have different styles, right? so it’s like, okay you go over there, i’ll go over here. and if we want each other’s opinion or want to have a conversation, then it’ll just be like, “hey is this one good? what about this one? can you help me choose?” that’s really all there is to it. it already makes us feel comfortable.
