@FreedmenCulture One day, U’ll come out of this Fba delusion, when Americans of South Sahara will have to leave Usa to South Sahara where you all originated from!!
African Independence is a Myth - Chinua Achebe
Chinua Achebe said it plainly.
African independence is a myth if the same foreign powers that claim to have “left” are still interfering, still choosing sides, still supplying weapons, still shaping outcomes, and still pretending they are neutral. That is the dishonesty Achebe was pointing to.
They call it an African problem in public while fueling the same crisis behind the scenes.
So what kind of independence is that? This is why the conversation about Africa’s freedom cannot end with national borders. To be truly independent, we must have absolute control over our politics, resources, security, economies, and our future.
Anything less is performance.
They taught their children to fear the word "socialism" while their government was overthrowing socialist governments across four continents.
They taught their children that democracy was their "greatest export" while their intelligence services were assassinating democratically elected leaders.
They taught their children that America had never lost a war while losing wars.
They taught their children that the market was "free" while using military force to open other countries' markets.
They taught their children that they were "the good guys" and then sent those children to places that had never been given the option of seeing them as anything else.
And the children came home broken, or did not come home, and the country called them "heroes" and moved on, and the next generation of children was taught the same things, and the cycle continued, and the people who profited from the cycle donated to the libraries and universities that produced the textbooks that kept the cycle running.
This is not a conspiracy.
This is an ecosystem.
And everyone inside an ecosystem experiences it as nature.
I want you to know Nigeria can never be better. Here is why:
First of all, it will take 100 years of education to decolonise the mind.
20 years of reinforcement of identity through brute and force. Just like Mao did in China.
Some people have to be captured and imprisoned and uses as forced labour for doing one crime having a foreign mindset.
If you put Israel, USA, or UK first before Nigeria you should be in prison or expelled from the country.
Before the slow progress.
You also have to destroy institutionalized religion. Burn down churches and mosques and make religion personal.
You can practice religion privately never publicly. Make evangelism a crime.
Before all these happen naturally, Nigerians must have already killed themselves in a tribal conflict or a religious conflict.
That generation wore afros, rocked all sorts of fancy hairstyles, then grew up, went bald, and started hating young people with hair.
Coupled with their religious psychosis, we suffered at their hands.
This is very heartbreaking to read 💔😭, may her soul rest in peace 🕊️
Now it brings me to saying this. I was receiving a lot of trolling on Wednesday about Portugal’s game without anyone here knowing what was happening to me.
I had been working on World Cup contents straight 5 days, watching all the matches without much sleep and proper food, and on that particular morning my stress levels were so high that my BP was through the roof (170 and above).
I was taken to the hospital, placed on drip and put on bed rest for 18 hours, I wasn’t even allowed to look at any kind of screen, it was very sad for me to miss Ronaldo’s opening match and skip all the matches for that day, but I had to put my life first.
Please and please, football fans I’m begging you guys with the name of God, prioritize your health first, I know the World Cup can be very intense but it comes every 4 years, not once in a lifetime.
You have only one life, if you’re sick or hypertensive please avoid the intense matches for now and stick to watching highlights.
In Dred Scott v. Sandford, the Supreme Court held that not only were Black people not citizens, but that Black people were not even humans where the law is concerned. Chief Justice Taney described Black people as “articles of merchandise”. Black life means nothing in America because Black people are still viewed as commodities rather than as people.
The ONLY solution to ALL of Nigeria's problems is a socialist revolution where unapologetic nationalists seize the levers of state and means of production.
The ONLY way all this nonsense will end is when the leaders of Nigeria work rabidly in the interests of the Nigerian state and the Nigerian people.
Until this happens, terrorism will NEVER end.
We will keep sinking deeper and deeper into poverty.
Our ethnoreligious divisions will get wider and wider.
We will continue to be at immense risk of fragmentation especially when we hit 400M in 2050.
By then the system may well collapse under its own weight.
Any other measure, including "electing" a "good president" is at best a short lived reprieve, and on average utterly useless.
@chisomholic@KwaoBuabeng The answer to your question lies in the verses i wrote down here, in addition to those verses read Psalm 83. Those are the nations oppressing us today..
