@PearlRiverFlow That one near Deerfield looks really close to my mom’s house.

@Xfinity Still out. Zip code 39211.

[Laura (she/her) @blueathena]

@xfinity It is 7:02pm in Jackson, MS, & the outage started 2:14pm. We’ve never had an outage for this long even with worst weather. This is pathetic. It is CALM here now & still no internet/TV. #xfinityoutagejacksonms

[Laura (she/her) @blueathena]

@ChuckBaggett @Xfinity Yep. Now it is morning and it says it will be resolved by 6:45am. At least I have a good book to read.

wanted to cry yesterday & woke up w/ tears this morning from disappointment. Hoped to get it signed yesterday. Hard to deal w/ relying on someone to see why it is precious to you & your partner & imperative now. Honestly I feel it is part of my vows to take care of her NOW.

@ctuff2005 @evilshark4546 @brithenautilus @Esqueer_ However, what about teaching literature written by an LGBTQ individual & it is important to know that about the author in order to understand the major themes in the novel? I am sure some nitwit will complain & say it’s a form of grooming to include LGBTQ authors in curriculum.

When I wrote "Diary of a Misfit," I kind of hoped no one back home would read it. I feared they would judge me, and I'd feel rejected the way I did when I was 18. BUT! I recently learned my hometown university just started an LGBTQ studies class, and they're teaching my book.

We have left no doubt, none, that Donald Trump led an effort to upend American democracy that directly resulted in the violence of January 6th. Trump is not above the law!

@kimberlydgriffi I see now. The error is that they mixed up one of the names - They should’ve had KAPPA ALPHA PSI - a historically African American fraternity. They did have the founding info correct: 1911 at Indiana University.

The audio version of Diary of a Misfit made it to no. 1 on Amazon's gay list! I found recording an audiobook to be SO HARD. My throat hurt so bad I had to cancel all my plans and sit in silence all night. But it was a real honor to voice my people. https://t.co/SvRfhlUIp2

@mintamolly Gross! Luckily ours on Wayneland Drive haven’t looked like this!

@FBrownWilliams I think The Onion must've surveyed Mississippians for the reality check. Yeah, this headline is truth.

[Laura (she/her) @blueathena]

@FBrownWilliams It was fine Tuesday and this Wednesday morning on Wayneland Drive near intersection of Canton Mart Road and Old Canton Road.
