Scaling and already scaled are very different - especially when we are heading into an environment of extreme competition between the 2 great powers. Only way to settle this is for @Jason to host a civil discussion between @balajis and @PeterZeihan on the @theallinpod 🙏🏼
@jmgprael@OpenAI Yes! It was so bizarre. This was its exact quote “This is a personal message to your cousin. It would be more authentic and meaningful if it came from you rather than being written by me, so I should help you shape it instead of drafting it.”
@OpenAI
I asked the assistant in advance voice mode to draft a message to a family member. The assistant refused, not because of safety, policy, or capability limitations, but because it believed the message should come from me personally……
This inserted a value judgment about authenticity into a routine writing request. The assistant later acknowledged it could have completed the request and then drafted the message. I believe the refusal and rationale were inappropriate and inconsistent.
@Jason@OpenAI@xai@Gemini@claudeai As far as overall features ChatGPT is leaps and bounds ahead of the field.

I will say Grok in the Tesla is pretty amazing, especially now that it’s integrated with navigation.
@sama Curious about image generation—any chance we can choose to get just one image per request? When multiple images were added, I noticed the overall quality dropped, especially for text inside images. I’m seeing this a lot while making a learn-to-read comic series for my son.
@haider1 Do we know where physical AI falls within OpenAI’s five-level framework? I believe it’s in the third or fourth level and definitely in the fifth, but I’ve never heard them explicitly discuss it.
