@mickeynp oh hey I also started with Red Hat 5, from a CD in the back of a "Learn Linux" tome. AI has helped me diagnose some really obscure problems on Linux systems, and really is just a great tool to have as a textual interface user. Like any powertool, it's not for everything.

@TracketPacer Interacting with a computer linguistically really is the most natural and powerful way. Interacting with fancy graphic GUIs is for mouse monkeys. Text is the universal interface.

@nickgraynews Perhaps you cannot understand the value of having an AI fully under your control. It's not fully about costs. Some of it is about independence and freedom. Some of us want to train our own models and not be beholden to whatever (insert corporation) thinks is good or bad.
