Hi, I haven't been here in a while, but I am working with a young pianist -- only 16 -- please give him your support and subscribe to his channel. He will he a star one day, I sincerely believe that: https://t.co/uAyADCZiji. And no, classical music isn't dead. It's our rebirth.
One of the craziest things happening today is the way the western world is being trained to freak out about "Russian propaganda", which barely exists in the west, while overlooking the fact that each and every day we are swimming in billions of dollars worth of pro-US propaganda.
White House fact-sheet says part of the mammoth $33 billion spending package it's requesting for Ukraine will be to "support independent media." Because nothing screams "independent" like being directly funded by the US Government as part of its "information warfare" initiative
@DrEricDing@CDCgov But it was obvious they were lying. We already had the info from China. Much as our govt. is lying to us again, about different issues, now.
@SAbeshima @michaelmina_lab This harms the economy, however, so it is not encouraged. There is no solution. But whatever you choose to do, you have to commit to it.
To put a finer point on it, anyone defending this new guidance should be asked directly, would you let your unvaxxed under 5 year old or immune compromised relative attend a gathering where people who tested positive 5 days ago- but wore cloth masks- were in close proximity.
For vax against upper respiratory viruses like SARS2, these viruses often don’t require “internal” replication. They just land in the nose, replicate locally & transmit on. So the vax can block “internal” replication and thus stop disease separate from stopping transmission

@bellsofohio@BillKristol Sadly, it seems to have gotten worse. Support has ended, he’s telling us to go out & get infected, and that’s that. Masks & waning vaccines will save us, apparently.
If everyone could just stop identifying themselves, and others, as either anti- or pro-vaccine, and instead engage with all the available evidence that to me points to an overwhelmingly positive balance in favour of covid19 vaccination overall, we may be in a far better position.
The continued message that breakthroughs are rare ultimately shoots us in the foot. They aren’t rare & public is seeing this
We need to be VERY clear about expectations of vaccines (protect from bad disease) and stop saying they stop infxn/spread
False expectations erode trust
