I honestly don't like you like that.
Brass-bound opinionated chick.
You people bother about your children’s academic performance while they are pre-schoolers? Omo.
Whenever I have to do PTA, all I care about is “does he play? Does he fight? How well does he make friends?”
@UBAGroup Hello @UBACares, I made a transfer to a Moniepoint account, and I've been debited, but the vendor didn't get it, and I didn't get a reversal. I had to pay again. Please make a reversal for me
My husband is really God’s favorite. He hits the pillow and minutes later, he’s asleep. How I wish. I would first have to offer sacrifices to the gods, then count to 1000, then recite the letters Z to A. All these with my ear plugs, eye mask, and more prayers that I don’t wake up in two hours and struggle even harder to fall back asleep.
@msnwangwa I have friends & cousins who attended these schools, and the stories are alarming. It's really disgusting that this comes from places that are supposed to shield you. I have sworn that my younger brother will not attend these glorified boarding houses in the name of university.
Today, I woke up missing my dad. Tbh, it's been this way since the month started. I keep seeing his face when I go for my morning walks. I just wish I could spend some time with him just to talk about stuff. I miss him.

I absolutely agree. My daughters first name is from my tribe and her middle name is from her dad's. A lot of people found it weird. They would say, "Are you sure her father agreed?" until somehow it stuck. She doesn't have an English name either, and so far, no one has died 😁.
In all these discussions about name change for wives, I must also point out that mothers must have first rights in naming children.
I'm part Arochukwu and it is common for mothers there to name their kids based on their labor and pregnancy experience.
They have first rights.
Desire can be fickle. The things I thought I desperately wanted in 2025 now pale in comparison to the life I am now forging for myself. This life isn’t from desire. It’s from new awareness of what I am and how much better I can do. I’m glad for this clarity—bittersweet but good.
“I want you under me. On your back.
I'm sorry. You deserve more respect than that. But I can't stop thinking of it. Your arms and leg's around me. Your mouth, open for my kisses. I need too much of you. A lifetime of nights spent between your thighs wouldn't be enough.
I want to talk with you forever. I remember every word you've ever said to me.
If only I could visit you as a foreigner goes into a new country, learn the language of you, wander past all borders into every private and secret place, I would stay forever. I would become a citizen of you.”
— Lisa Kleypas, A Wallflower Christmas
My neighbor is 88 and fiercely independent. But lately, I noticed he struggles to drag his heavy trash bins to the curb. He stops every few feet to catch his breath.
For the last month, I’ve been sneaking out at 6 AM to pull them to the curb for him before he wakes up.
Today, I found a note taped to the lid: "I know it’s you. My back thanks you, but my heart thanks you more." It takes me 30 seconds. It saves him a day of pain.
