@ASWoodward1 Quite an interesting response from Green Party Leader Chris Rigby. Let’s see how their party vote on Tuesday regarding the new Town councils with BCP. Will they support tackling the cost of living, support local communities or will control and money come first?
The Financial Times, who are good with numbers, asks Keir Starmer how does £101million per year for 99 years add up to just £3.4billion and not close to £10billion His reply tells you everything you need to know about Mauritius, Chagos, and so-called National Security.....
@LBeddowDorset @PhilBroadhead@BCPCouncil Politicians may see it as disunited, whereas residents may see it as local councillor putting residents before party? Should that not be the case?
@JoeSalmonBmouth@PhilBroadhead You have one leader of the Council accusing another leader of the Council who is denying the allegation. Whilst I agree it helps with democracy, all it does not is frustrate Council tax payers who’s money has been wasted, when now all they want is the truth? Someone is lying here
@VikkiSlade72@PhilBroadhead@Joeybird Seems to be a lot of accusations and denials. Surely the burden of proof is on the accuser here Vikki? Can you publish the list because a recent FOI came back saying they have no record of who the individuals were? https://t.co/wvZ28gSgm5
@JoeSalmonBmouth@PhilBroadhead Trial by social media yet again. If an accusation such as this is true, then surely either a compliant goes into the council for full investigation, or the matter is referred to the Police?
@hadleyac@BBCNews@Bournemouthecho Are you saying all these things are down to a Tory administration and no fault lies with the council executive/senior management? Everything that went on - no one could stop these decisions. So where did these ideas come from in the first place?
This applies in #Chiswick and @LBofHounslow. If a council promotes a town, or borough, as a destination then makes it hard to get to or park in, tourists won't come. Shops, cafes, restaurants, hospitality and entertainment businesses, etc, will fail. https://t.co/a8E5oimCGU
@Dorch_Janine @vikki4mdnp @PhilBroadhead@BCPCouncil It’s not the finance Cllr Broadhead was worried about - he never was. It was the fact that he lost a seat and one of his foot soldiers who would obey his command at will.
