@PearDeck is a great tool for educators to use to enhance the quality of presentations and learning in their classrooms! This tool will be used in my future classroom to help engage and enhance the learning of my students through strong and engaging presentations! #EDUC331

@Bigler_Michelle A4: Access and adaptability are important when designing a website because if you do not have these things, people will not take the time to look at your site! Your site have to be easy to access and be able to adapt to whatever device someone is looking at it from.

@Bigler_Michelle A3: I will incorporate these elements throughout my portfolio. I will make sure I have white space and appealing colors, text and contrast so my pages are not overwhelming to look at. I will also use icons in any place that they will add something to my ePortfolio.

@Bigler_Michelle A2: What makes a website easy to navigate is having tabs that are laid out in a way that makes sense. Having tabs that take you to different pages and also having headings for each page makes sure that anyone who is looking at the site is able to know what exactly they are seeing

@Bigler_Michelle A1: I believe that the layout of my ePortfolio will enhance it the most because having a site that is easy to navigate and is laid out in a way that makes sense will make sure that people take the time to look at it and can easily access everything on it!

@TeacherAnna23 @MelissaRathmann Such a great point Anna! Hands on activities are a great way for children to be excited about hw assignments and will help them reinforce some of the things they have been learning in class!

@MelissaRathmann A3: Creating things students will enjoy! I remember most of hw experience being boring and hard to stay engaged in due to the lack of creativity with the assignments! Getting student feedback on assignments they would enjoy can help with that as well! #CelebratEd

@MelissaRathmann A2: Homework can be beneficial if it has a purpose behind it. Homework should not just be "busy work" to keep students working outside of class, but rater if it is going to help the students in the long run! This should not be all the time though! #CelebratEd

@MelissaRathmann A1: Although homework may have some benefits and can be useful for extra practice, I am done with homework. Schoolwork should be kept at school, especially for young children! We are putting necessary pressure on them by assigning homework at such a young age! #CelebratEd

@JaydeWith Great resource that you shared here! I get questions sometimes about why I am going into this field and told how little money I am going to make. But, there is such an impact that early childhood educators can have on young children and that is something I want to be apart of!

@JaydeWith @KeonJulia I absolutely agree with this, young children do not have long attention spans, so moving from activity to activity will increase the likelihood of them staying engaged! Also, keep them moving and interacting in whatever is going on in the classroom!
