@TeacherAnna23 In my partner teacher's room, I have seen routine used in an interesting and engaging way. He plays a short ten minute news video every time and asks questions, giving candy to right answers. It pushes the kids to take in more news outside of class to have the knowledge.

@KatieBonaccors1 Personally, I believe it depends on the student. I would be interested in letting them choose for themselves and watching their progress with their chosen method. I personally don't take any notes. I have always found it hardest to learn if I am not listening completely.
