@Dillon72073594@SleeperJazz I agree that Mavs bench clears, but I'd push back on the idea that Gafford is obviously better than Nurkic. It's at least close, and, my homerism aside, I think Nurkic probably even gets the edge.
@USUtheRightBlue Top 3 are locks. Pistol Pete probably makes the most sense for the 4th if we're talking "Jazz", but if we're talking "Utah Jazz", he played a whopping 17 games in the Beehive State.
4th is probably DWill, maybe Boozer if you hold Sloan's retirement against Deron
@cDubFan Lauri already might be on there. He’s definitely a better player than Hornacek, but Horny is exempt from the rules. He probably replaces Griffith or Robinson.
Hopefully Darryn is at the top of the list tho. Key is also capable of a career that gets him on here
@jazzmomm@jayclouser Here's what I'll say: the Lakers are antithetical to the entire identity of the Jazz. Where we have to be scrappy to compete, they fall ass-backwards into talent over and over again. They feel entitled to championships. They play on easy mode, while we play on hard mode.
@BensHoops@utahjazz Should we expect another move for a center before next season's tip-off? There are definitely some reasonable targets out there, especially armed with a new salvo of draft picks.
@BensHoops@Dunzod Idk why fans think that the Lakers would send out a massive sheet just to “screw us”. Ignoring the fact that messing with your opponents is less effective than improving, why Utah? We seem to have a fairly good relationship with their FO. Danny kept the Luka deal quiet.
