@conorsen A lot of the recent (post 2020) budget increases was because of law enforcement salary increases. Residents won’t want to roll those back. That means cutting other services?

@conorsen It may be specific to the states I follow closely, FL and GA, but there’s also a real push at the state level in to cut/eliminate property taxes on homesteaded properties. That’ll cause a huge drop in municipal taxes.

TCU has banned @startelegram and pulled credentials over reporting of a locker room assault that resulted in a case filing with TCU campus police.

@StevenMJohnson_ has been told that the decision stemmed from the victim receiving threats after the reporting, but Steven never identified the victim until the victim made a public statement on his Instagram about the assault three days after his initial reporting.

Steven’s trip to Ireland this weekend for TCU’s game against North Carolina is still on, despite TCU pulling his credential for the game.

The Star-Telegram is the only full-time outlet covering TCU athletics.

It’s an aging, mostly empty shopping center (at Abernathy and Mt Vernon). There’s a MARTA rail Station on site & easy access to 400 & 285.
