Why is corporate media trying to act like Donald Trump and his supporters are "fringe" or "extreme" when they are mainstream opinions in white america. This dude won 74 million votes, 55% of the white vote. White Supremacy is as mainstream as America gets
What Elon Musk’s Twitter files have revealed so far is that content moderation at Twitter WAS being decided by a team of people with differing viewpoints.
Now it’s being decided by the richest man on Earth with an axe to grind against one political party — a true scandal.

Wild. Sam Bankman-Fried, who gave nearly $40M to Democratic committees in 2022, said in an interview that he secretly “donated about the same amount to both parties.”
Thanks to Citizens United, he said, “all of my Republican donations were dark.” https://t.co/mLDJi0qxIZ
This is one of those times to remember that when people formed the first unions and did the first labor organizing it was all illegal. Cops, the national guard, and even the army were sent to break strikes. And workers persisted anyway.
Has anyone else noticed that suggested videos under different tags (like Popular Videos) have gotten more cruel or sadistic recently? Where people actually injure themselves instead of being silly or funny.
A reminder that student debt was too small to be counted up until the 90s. College in the U.S. used to be free—or a very very low fee. Then Republicans defunded higher education to deter activists, women and Black/brown folks from attending higher-ed institutions.
Strange things happening with my account.
1. Followers finding that I am blocked when they did not block me.
2. That they are not following me even though they never unfollowed me.
3. Not seeing me in their feeds anymore.

Well-endowed highly exclusionary universities asking job candidates to submit DEI statements rather than transferring material resources to the educational institutions that serve large underprivileged populations is pretty comical.
Truly monumental release at @DoughnutEcon, very actionable tools, guidelines on facilitation, publishing case studies. The change that awaits is enormous but we have to start from somewhere.

Congrats @ErinchSahan@KateRaworth and team
It would be cool if just once they framed it like “billionaire rail owners refuse to give people sick days, so workers voted against a tentative contract…”
This is completely insane. Andy Ngo is a neo-Nazi type. Musk is now directly, personally taking requests from him to ban his enemies. This is the exact kind of political targeting that Republicans spent years (falsely) complaining that Twitter was doing to conservatives.
7 years ago, #Uber insisted that it would reduce traffic. Instead, Uber drivers cruise without passengers 40% of the time. Uber and Lyft no longer claim they reduce traffic, and now admit they increase congestion.
So much for “making cities better.”
