It’s not disability, it is compensation for injuries caused by, or exasperated by military service. Guys with missing limbs go back to work. I lost most of my left shoulder and half my left lung to an IED blast and eventually went back to work.

As far as this guys case, you don’t know why he has anxiety and depression. Crazy fact about military sexual trauma, in raw numbers, just as many men get sexually assaulted/raped in the military than women. While the percentage is lower, the actual numbers of victims of male and female victims remains the same.

That is why he wasn’t charged. Unfortunately, casting a ballot without citizenship is a disqualification, willfully or not. As of 2021 USCIS considers marking yes on citizenship for registration as knowingly claiming citizenship and qualifies for deportation, whether is was unlawful or not.
