Deputy AG & GC @NCAGO. Proud mom of the world’s preeminent (preschool) expert on concrete mixers, his toddler ass’t & the world’s doofiest golden retriever.
@JoshStein_ Also happy to answer questions about working @NCAGO! I've had a fabulous 4.5 years there, and I have no doubt the great work will continue under AG-Elect @JeffJacksonNC.
As your next Governor, I’m determined to build a safer, stronger North Carolina. But to do that, I need the best team possible — learn more about how to join my administration below: https://t.co/pbEpWKpQ0T
@MaryNorrisTNY Hi, @MaryNorrisTNY , thanks so much for your review! This is my brother-in-law's musical, and I am hoping to frame your review for him, along with the playbill. Was this actually printed in the hard copy, or is it online only? Either way, we are so grateful for your piece!
This year, NCDOJ worked hard to serve the people of North Carolina and make our state a happier, healthier, and safer place.
Before 2024 is here, we are recapping AG @JoshStein_ and NCDOJ’s hard work and big wins in 2023! 🧵
State legislators cannot violate the will of the people as expressed in their constitutions & interpreted by their supreme courts. I am incredibly proud of my team for winning this critical case upholding our democracy. Thanks, @RyanYPark & @boldsticker, for your great work! 2/2
It was a week of high highs and low lows. But it was also a powerful reminder of how fortunate we @ncago are to get to do what we do. Every day is another opportunity to fight for a better North Carolina. Let’s get after it.
Today, the Supreme Court rejected the fringe independent state legislature theory that threatened to upend our democracy and dismantle our system of checks and balances.
That was Wednesday. Thursday, we learned we had lost our affirmative action case on behalf of UNC at the Supreme Court. That loss is a giant step backwards in the long, winding road to equity and fairness, both in education and beyond.
It's that time of year again! We're hiring fellows for the General Counsel's Office and the Solicitor General's Office at NCDOJ. Come work with us! #appellatetwitter

Seems like the appropriate time to highlight that I’ve changed jobs! I left the SG’s office at the start of 2023 to become Deputy AG and General Counsel @NCAGO.
It’s been an exciting first two months, and we are full steam ahead to make the most of the next two years.

During #WomensHistoryMonth, our office will be highlighting women in NC and the DOJ, past and present, who are breaking barriers to make our state safer and stronger.
Today, we celebrate Sarah Boyce, a dedicated public servant who serves NC as Deputy AG & General Counsel.
And I would obviously be remiss if I didn’t thank @JoshStein_ for entrusting me with this latest opportunity. No one cares more about fighting for North Carolinians than our AG, and I’m so proud and humbled to do this important work alongside him.

Ryan is not just a brilliant lawyer—he’s also the type of leader who consistently passes up opportunities to burnish his own resume in favor of promoting others. I’ve done things beyond my wildest dreams the last three years, and Ryan has been a huge part of that.
