@SouthernWater@dscott26291 Yep saw the car wash boys using their trusty jet hose today at Tesco cleaning cars, so they can use excess amounts of water to clean cars but we can’t water our gardens - what a joke!
@1030pa@SouthernWater Their water is supplied by a public government run company who doesn’t pay ridiculous salaries to people and actually invest in the infrastructure unlike southern water
@PositionCelph@jackisgeeky@MartinSLewis It’s not scaremongering it’s the truth. It’s seen as a new account, it can be interpreted as a new financial obligation
@PositionCelph@jackisgeeky@MartinSLewis All new accounts on your report have an impact to future borrowing. Don’t switch accounts if you have a mortgage coming up in the next 12 months.
@XpTa_Z@MartinSLewis And some people might be looking to do exactly that. I am concerned people use this as a way to bring in more money and there is no real warning for people.
@MartinSLewis my water usage decreased this year by 20 cubic meters yet my bill went up by over 20% from last year. This feels so wrong to pay more for less with @SouthernWater
@MartinSLewis I think the biggest concern is that what impact does it have on your credit report? I recently tried this and was declined by first direct for a current account.
@RachelD1892 The fact he did an ask me anything on Reddit was impressive- I say give him a chance, if he lets us down then that’s the end of Labour. Thank god Starmer is out though, did nothing for the British people
@10DowningStreet I am confused which countries government Starmer has been working for because all these claims of more money and more affordable houses is not what's been happening in the UK.
