Whether it is or isn’t a red to Balogun is now irrelevant. Government interference is a violation of FIFA Article 2 & 15, and the punishment is disqualification and suspension. #FIFAWorldCup
HOW is a nation that bid to host the World Cup ALLOWED to not admit all the participants in the country? HOW isn't this a PREREQUISITE to let you host the whole thing? What are we even talking about?
Gent in black, "With the first ministers of three in four nations now seeking constitutional change, is the union now held together by Westminster veto, rather than consent?"
Meanwhile we have basically zero Gaelic speakers in the entire Scottish parliament. The way Wales has managed to preserve and allow Welsh to flourish incredible.
Rhun ap Iorwerth has just had his first call with Keir Starmer as First Minister.
Early demands made over concessions for Wales.
Welsh Gov just issued the following:
“The Prime Minister congratulated the First Minister on his appointment and stated that he is keen to establish ways of working based on shared interests. The First Minister responded by looking forward to developing a constructive relationship between his Government and their UK Government counterparts.
“The First Minister made clear he will wish to negotiate on the Barnett formula, fair funding, borrowing powers, rail and further devolution. The First Minister noted that a Senedd majority, including the Labour group, is in favour of enhanced powers.
“The Prime Minister confirmed that he would be open to a conversation on powers relating to devolution and proposed an in-person meeting in June with the First Ministers of Scotland and Northern Ireland to discuss issues of relevance.
“The First Minister also sought cooperation on the impact of the conflict in the Middle East on the cost of living and agreed to continue an open dialogue on all relevant issues.
“The First Minister also today had phone calls with the First Minister of Scotland and the First Minister and deputy First Minister of Northern Ireland. All agreed to work constructively on issues of shared interest.”
As the tales go, Druids would often meet in woodland groves. Nature was very much their temple. The building is to create continuity with that. The Senedd Members are the roots of the tree; of Wales itself and its memory, if you wish.
Keir Starmer didn’t mention Wales once in his speech.
Not one word about the historic Senedd result that shattered more than a century of Labour dominance in Wales.
Starmer’s time is over. In Wales, Plaid Cymru’s time has come.
Voting Plaid Cymru on May 7th is more than a vote for a party manifesto. It will be the first step to a new, revitalised Wales. A nation rediscovering itself can achieve great things - in all spheres. Come on - let's vote together for Wales on May 7th! @plaidcymru
I went to watch Merthyr Tydfil at home to Macclesfield - and asked fans about the forthcoming Senedd elections.
Labour voters were *incredibly* hard to find.
‘At a time when the country is in turmoil and there’s a war in the Middle East...'
@TomSwarbrick1 questions the 'strange' timing of a video showing MPs dancing in Westminster.
