The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints broke ground for a new chapel in Grand Blanc, Michigan, on Monday, September 28, 2026 — exactly one year after the attack that killed four people, wounded eight others and destroyed the building. Church leaders also dedicated the site where the new meetinghouse will be built.

“It’s a symbol of hope, a new beginning,” said Jeff Schaub, leader of the Grand Blanc congregation, or ward. “We talk about that a lot in the gospel [of Jesus Christ] — that we can shake off old things and we can start anew and we can rebuild with hope and faith. This is a reminder of that. Bad things have happened, but we don’t have to tie ourselves to those bad things. Because of the Savior Jesus Christ, we can start a new chapter.”

29-year-old Joel Todd McLemore was standing outside a home on 16th Street in Lancaster, South Carolina when Demarcus O’Brien Foster pulled a gun and shot him in the head.

Joel was rushed to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died the next day — September 28, 2017.

Foster was convicted of murder in March 2019 and sentenced to life without parole. His prior record included a manslaughter conviction. Maryam Rivera and Quinterious Truesdale were charged as accessories after Rivera allegedly drove Foster from the scene.

Joel was a son and brother. His family lost him on what started as an ordinary night.

Never forget him.

The reason this is so important and so necessary is that of all the Executive Branch departments, the State Department BY FAR has the worst form of a cultural illness where its employees lose sight of the fact that they serve the American people and they instead believe they serve whatever nation or cause their diplomacy is focused on.

If you ever served downrange in the U.S. military and had to work closely with State Department employees, you know I speak truth.

Bravo, Mr. President and Secretary Rubio. This change is wholly necessary. Symbolism matters.

🚨 INFOSYS IS UNDER AN ACTIVE DOJ INVESTIGATION INVOLVING H-1B FILINGS.

This is not a rumor. Infosys disclosed it itself.

In its 2026 financial filings, Infosys says the Justice Department is investigating how the company classified certain H-1B employees working for one of its clients in immigration documents filed with U.S. government authorities.

Infosys says it is in discussions with DOJ and conducting its own inquiry. The company says it cannot yet predict the outcome.

And this investigation is apparently still active. Infosys repeated the same disclosure in its June 30, 2026 quarterly filing.

Now I’m seeing anecdotal reports claiming some Infosys H-1B extensions aren’t being approved.

I have NOT found evidence connecting the two.

But given the active DOJ investigation, I want to know:

Are Infosys H-1B workers seeing unusual RFEs, delays or denials on extensions right now?
