I’m absolutely fine but I was very shaken (indeed shocked) and spent almost five hours at the hospital having a ECG and blood tests (sent there by 111). A&E were brilliant. I have a sore arm and tingly fingers, and now a fear of plugs.
Folks, check your chargers. Last night I ended up in A&E having various tests because one of mine was slightly damaged but in a critical place so the cover came off. I accidentally touched the circuit board and received a nasty shock. It was a reputable brand, not a cheapie.
@archivetvmus71 Another person who would love a digital copy of this - I have the three sets of cassettes but they are worn out through repeated listening.
Gave my daughter a cardboard box and felt pens, so she created a rocket. She then proceeded to tell me about her alien friend Chameleon who travelled with her… I want to hear more about their adventures!
@AnnetteMckay15 Not unless things have changed in the last five years! I haven’t actually worn nail varnish since before F was born, and it would never have occurred to me to get my nails done before a chunk of time involving a lot of hand washing…

I had a nosy at someone’s tweets because a friend sent me the link. I was not impressed, so please dear Twitter, stop suggesting I follow them! Don’t want to block them - there’s nothing wrong - just very boring!
I am another person who has to travel 200 miles to see a dentist. Last year I needed multiple visits to complete treatment and on two occasions the dentist cancelled the appointment when I was in the middle of the drive up. Still cheaper than going private.
I like this. Five topics I can talk about for 30 minutes with no prep:
The Archers (1950-2018)
Why museums, archives and galleries are important
The Robinson/Hawkins/Walker/Pattison families in Hackney and Bethnal Green (1900-54)
Boarding school stories
Social history via maps
@AnnetteMckay15@Ryanair I was watching lots of planes aborting landings and heading off for other airports last night (discovered flight radar 24) and so many RyanAir flights ended up in the wrong airports. It must be chaos behind the scenes! Very bad to have no information, hope it is soon sorted.
@tony4rochdale I am so sad to read this. I was involved in local politics in a neighbouring constituency and Tony was a fantastic support. He really put the leg work in and when he came to help out with local elections you never felt he was there for a photo op. He’ll be sadly missed.
@TfL I’ve been trying to pay for my (completed) Oyster journeys for several days now, am worried about getting fined if I can’t update my creditcard. I get an error message on my account. Can’t find an email address for you, only a phone number.
