Take the absurd case - the offense doesn’t change their strategy at all in response to the rule change. This would result in an equal number of scored goals. Now, consider the hypothesis that an improvement exists upon this strategy. More goals would be scored - else they just wouldn’t change anything. As such, the “no offsides” counterfactual teams score, necessarily, more or equal goals to the offsides reality. You’re foolishly considering exactly one example strategy change and convincing yourself that fewer goals would be scored. I don’t care. Teams would just not engage in such a strategy.

You go on to claim that "white teams outperform black teams." What could this even mean? Relative to their country's general population, Black players are overrepresented in nearly every World Cup roster - England, USA, Germany, Netherlands, and Portugal, to name a few.
