@nocontextmemes Go with "Bob fault. He's going to screw up the data, and then blame Becky. She'll say I didn't check it, but she doesn't know anything. I sent it back to John with notes, but the server glitched and he got Bob's original version. But the server glitch was also on Bob. All Bob."
@CharlesChazen@CatAsphyxiant@nocontextmemes Maybe. Or maybe they think someone who will blame themselves isn't going to work really hard. This is not a good question for that reason. There's too many ways to interpret the answer.
@flaretopp@nocontextmemes I agree it's a real question, and im of the opinion that such questions are a red flag that the interviewer thinks they're day more clever than they really are. All trap questions do is let the person reinforce their own pet (and usually wrong) theories about others. Run away
@CaptainCalvinCa@JiltedValkyrie@GateWorld The only reason I can forgive discovery being as bad as it was, and it was bad, is that it gave us SNW. Disc was condescending to the viewer, messed with Klingons for no good reason, incoherent plot, and added tech that made no sense in ST lore, but would be really cool solo
@Schiffer_PG14@simongerman600 No, but if you're using a legal document, a date is needed, and that's what this is really about. Data and legal documents. And there the format above allows for arbitrary precision without changing the order
@vivchook@howdidyouseeme1@simongerman600 In normal speech I rarely include the year. If you ask me date I'll usually say June sixth or whatever. But the date format is intended to allow arbitrary precision without changing the order, down to however small of a decimal of a second you want
@vivchook@simongerman600 Because by going largest to smallest you can indefinitely sub-divide the units into hours minutes seconds and so on for as much precision as needed for any given context. Just need the year? Ok. Need milliseconds? Yep that flows into it without needing to change format
@JohnnyRock93955@MaryAnnreports Self defense... But not lethal self defense. If they to punch you, and you stab me, that's an escalation of threat. If I verbally state I'm going to remove you from a location, it's not self defense to kill me, no matter the means, because I didn't threaten to kill you.
@ComeAndFakeIt@MaryAnnreports@sippicup2 Sadly, because of this, a good defense attorney can argue that the current defense did not adequately represent Karmelos case. Eg, if he loses, he's got some grounds for appeal. It won't work, but it's there
@CRainsZombie@GandalfObiewan@skorusARK It's support wasn't nearly as good as AMDs from what I recall. But I'm remembering this from the standpoint of a nerd that followed things but didn't do programming
@LSaffrett@BewareOfWombat@skorusARK Actually cooling is the big problem in space. Instead of conductive great transfer you only have radiative, which is much slower. It's much less efficient.
@CRainsZombie@GandalfObiewan@skorusARK I'm not certain that 'too much of a leaning curve' is entirely accurate. I think it was more that it leaked backwards compatibility and pretty much every program has to be recompiled for 64 bit usage. Meanwhile AMD had a solution that brushed that gap, allowing an easier path
@GayGodSparkles@Provokethoughtz It's still a fraction of a % of all known species. And note that your own source states that exclusively homosexual males have only been documented in one non-human species: domestic sheep. Which is a stupidly low number. Using other species to justify human behavior is foolish
@Blueishsweatsh1@Provokethoughtz Healthy human sexuality, even among straight folks, is about far more than procreation. And that's fine. I'm straight, but don't care if someone is gay. I do care if people are treated well or not.
@FlavourNorth@Provokethoughtz Licking yourself requires more flexibility than most adult humans can manage. I'd be impressed by someone who could. I don't really want to see it happen, but it'd still be impressive....
@HalcyonHypnotic@Provokethoughtz Justifying any behavior in humans because other species do it is a logically weak position to take. If two or more consenting adults want to boink, it's not my problem if it's gay or not. But the sign is stupid for using animals to justify being gay. Being homophobic is also bad
