This video needs to be engraved in your mind because it’s a fucking diamond. If you want to understand the Law of Assumption & thought transmission, nothing I’ve seen explains it with this level of clarity. Watch it once, and you’ll never look at your thoughts the same way again.
Goethe’s Theory of Colours saw light as a living phenomenon revealed through its interplay with darkness, nature & perception.
In 2025, a study posited that every living plant emits photons from its own cells (which only extinguish upon death)
Blake's embrace of imagination stems from the belief that it does not merely embellish reality, but rather that it is what allows us to perceive reality more fully.
The richer and more unified the act of perception, the more of the world we actually see.
Another banger. Thought I'd seen this. I was wrong. 1999. Having to compete with The Matrix got this one swept under the rug. Folks realizing they were in a computer-generated reality.
Denmark quietly produced one of the most unsettling horror films of the 90s. Nightwatch puts a law student alone in a morgue at night and lets the paranoia do all the work. Lean, cold, and deeply underrated
Most people NEVER consciously decide who they are becoming. They inherit beliefs, standards, habits, fears, ambitions and definitions of what is possible from whatever surrounds them: family, school, friends, culture, social media, algorithms, praise, rejection and failure.
None of this requires your permission. Your subconscious mind is absorbing patterns CONSTANTLY. Your attention is being trained. Your identity is being reinforced.
That is what PROGRAM OR BE PROGRAMMED means.
If you do not deliberately cultivate your mindset, self-concept, standards, beliefs, attention and identity, your environment will do it for you. You will still be programmed. You will simply have outsourced the authorship.
Spend enough time around cynicism and cynicism starts to sound intelligent. Spend enough time around mediocrity and mediocrity starts to feel normal. Consume enough fear, outrage, scarcity and distraction and those states begin to feel like reality.
Immerse yourself in discipline, courage, ambitious people, great books and better ideas, and your internal reference point moves.
Repetition becomes familiarity. Familiarity becomes belief. Belief influences perception. Perception influences behaviour. Repeated behaviour becomes character. Character starts looking suspiciously like destiny.
Your subconscious mind learns from what you repeatedly see, hear, feel and do. Your conversations are programming. Your content diet is programming. Your self-talk is programming. Your routines are programming. Your peer group is programming.
Ask “Why does this always happen to me?” and your mind searches for helplessness. Ask “How do I solve this?” and attention shifts toward resources and opportunities. Ask “Who must I become to handle this?” and the obstacle becomes an identity challenge.
Notice what is programming you. Notice what your algorithm keeps showing you. Notice which beliefs you repeat without remembering where they came from.
Then ask:
Did I choose this?
If the answer is no, choose again.
Stand guard at the door of your mind. Curate what you consume. Train what you focus on. Rehearse who you intend to become.
PROGRAM OR BE PROGRAMMED Ω
Choose carefully.
This man, a professional medic, rushed to the scene when the Twin Towers were hit offering assistance.
He was immediately told to stand back and overheard the order to detonate the buildings.
Moments later he heard the explosions go off.
This video is constantly being removed from the internet.
I simply can't imagine why.
Tony Robbins literally explained why most people reject every opportunity that would make them wealthy. It is not skepticism. It is not bad luck. It is one word on autopilot.
He calls it conditioned refusal. Your brain says no before you finish hearing the question. "Want to invest?" No. "Automate your savings?" No. "Can I help you?" No, just looking.
The word fires before the thought arrives. It is not a decision. It is a reflex. And it runs on everything that could change your financial life.
Advertisers spend $422 billion a year conditioning the opposite reflex. Pepsi paid $5 million for Michael Jackson in three 60-second spots. Not to explain the taste. To make reaching for one feel like your own idea.
You say yes to spending 6,000 times a day without noticing. You say no to saving once and call it rational.
The U.S. savings rate is 2.7%. Not because people are bad with money. Because they say yes to every purchase and no to every opportunity. One reflex is trained. The other is default.
Fran Tarkenton lost 3 Super Bowls. Never won one. Still made the Hall of Fame. Most people lose one financial bet and condition themselves to never try again.
The Army hired Robbins to cut training times in half. He did it by changing what soldiers were conditioned to say yes to.
He now charges $750,000 per speech to teach this.
The talk is free. Almost nobody has watched it.
PSALM 46:10
Be still. Stop stressing. Stop forcing.
If it’s from God, you don't have to chase it.
What belongs to you will stay.
What isn't for you will fade.
Trust Him-He's already working it out.
Put 'Amen' if you trust His timing.
Long-time followers will know I periodically recommend the films of German director Christian Petzold. I just saw his latest and recommend it for a lot of the reasons I've pushed his prior work. The film is just 86 minutes long, has a handful of characters, a tight drama that brushes up against mental illness, strained relationships - and redemption. And there is nothing over the top here. It treats the emotional issues (a young woman's boyfriend is killed in a car accident, an older woman takes her in whose daughter committed suicide) with clinical distance. It shows you, rather than tells you what is happening - not heavy-handed or moralizing. In the age of long-form TV, tight dramas like this have a place in film.
