@EmathsUK I disagree. It is the behavior and focus of those in attendance. Attendance only affects the student not attending. Behavior affects the whole class. Focus/attention affects too many students who are in attendance.
@dailystem If you ad the first two 3s, you get a sum of 6. If you add the other 3 with the two 2s, you get a sum of 7. Basically, someone is being sneaky with 6-7! 😂
@unfoldthesoul Disagree. I know my “low” students and tell my principal they are “low”. If not acknowledged, we can’t fix the problem, whether a system problem, needs more time, interventions, etc. You can’t help what you don’t acknowledge… but don’t plan for them to stay “low”!
@HicklandHillary Sorry this has happened to you. Saying it’s “disproportionately coming from the left,” means that it is also coming from the right. Both are wrong and nothing will change as long as we tolerate it from anyone. Not a partisan issue. It should not be tolerated from either side.
@brianeharrison 1) If they were serious about doing that, they already would have. They want to be re-elected. 2) If serious, how much more will they do to hurt public schools? 3) As a lifetime Republican, I hope most of the people I have voted for in the past aren’t in Austin next session.
@leachfortexas It’s hard to apply common sense when the ones writing the bill have no common sense. Also, a Twitter message is not a legal document. Until TEA gives updated guidelines, your bill is in place because careers are on the line. Go ahead. Pat yourself on the back.
@BradBuckleyDVM I used to respect you, but that ship sailed when I watched your demeanor during the live hearings on vouchers. You didn’t care what people said because your mind was made up ahead of time… and I am a lifetime Republican, but my vote will look different next year!
