Um dos principais objetivos ao criar os movimentos para Brand New Day era encontrar maneiras de fazer com que os poderes da Jean Grey fossem visualmente compreensíveis de forma realista e convincente, sem depender excessivamente de efeitos de pós-produção. Para isso, tivemos uma ótima oportunidade de trabalhar com dançarinos, porque eles são praticamente super-humanos, com um domínio extraordinário da expressão corporal. Eles foram fundamentais para ajudar a dar vida à história de super-herói em nível urbano.

Além disso, também contamos com a ajuda de figurantes especializados em cenas de ação com experiências diversas em disciplinas físicas, para compor cenas que exigiam um grande número de pessoas. Ocasionalmente, também utilizamos profissionais da equipe de dublês para lidar com movimentos mais perigosos ou acrobáticos.

Aqui você pode ver como os primeiros estudos de “ir contra a multidão” acabaram evoluindo até chegar a esta cena final.
