BREAKING: The AP just called the 2024 presidential election for Donald Trump.
We’re clear-eyed about the chaos and destruction a second Trump administration will cause to our nation.
That’s why we’re done with handwringing, admiring the problem, or waiting anxiously to see which unlawful action President-elect Trump will take on Day One. We are ready to take action the minute Trump takes the oath of office.

Mariupol, Chasiv Yar, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Pokrovsk... Before the Russian invasion of Ukraine, these cities were bustling with life.
Now, Russian forces have destroyed & razed them to the ground.
This is what they look like after Feb 2022. Such is the “Russian world.”
"Why are we speaking about history? We are speaking because it is happening again now. Russia is again committing genocide against Ukrainians. It's not new - it's the pattern that continues for a long time, for 100 years."
- Ukrainian MP and PACE member @GoncharenkoUa
Today we mourn the loss of a brilliant journalist, but - more importantly - a magnificent human being.
His listeners included ambassadors and the heads of US departments, but he never changed. He was utterly authentic and empathetic.
Thank you, David.

This is what Ukraine is up against. The Russian war is one that deliberately ignores any rules and laws of war. The Russian army does not properly feed, systematically abuses, tortures and at times rapes and executes Ukrainian prisoners of war…
Skin and bones..
russian captivity is a concentration camp
Hey @UN@ICRC@hrw anything to say?
Why aren’t you protecting Ukrainians in russian captivity from inhumane conditions?
One can only imagine what this girl has been through. Today, along with 74 other Ukrainians, 22y.o. Maryana Chechelyuk, a policewoman from Mariupol, returned to Ukraine from Russian captivity. She's been held as a prisoner for over 2 years.
Kateryna Zakoretska, 35, sergeant major of the 80th Air Assault Brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, died defending Ukraine.
Her eight-year-old son will forever miss his mom.
"Katia loved her family, life and believed in our Victory. After the start of Russia's full-scale invasion, she performed complex combat missions, defending the skies of Kharkiv region, and remained faithful to her military oath until her last breath," the city council said.
Eternal memory and eternal glory to Ukrainian Hero.
During a rotation on the frontline, a combat medic, Iryna 'Cheka' Tsybukh was killed in Kharkiv region. She would have turned 26 on June 1st.
Her brother, Yuriy Tsybukh, shared a posthumous letter that Cheka' wrote in case she would get killed—translation in the thread below.
