@MatthewJshow Send troops here, send troops there, send troops everywhere! How about we focus on our country instead of being the world’s policeman. Obviously, I feel bad for the Afghans, but let’s focus on America first.
@BadLegalTakes And even if this was a black robe judge, and not a County official, where is the HIPPA violation? Knowning the number of open beds in a hospital is not protected health information.
@heyblue@LeashYoKidz@Buster_ESPN And he bought the team for $183 million and it’s currently worth around $2 billion, so even if he breaks even on payroll/expenses after factoring in the TV money, etc, he is still making about $90 million in equity each year
@MatthewJshow@JoeBiden It’s simple math. If there are 331,000,000 people in the USA, and 75% needed to get COVID before we had heard immunity, that’s 248,000,000 infections. Even with your vaunted 99% recoverable stat, that’s still about 2.5 million deaths. Let’s avoid 2.5 million deaths, thanks
@FykesJason@MatthewJshow Which one was it for Trump, Desantis, and Tucker Carlson? I’m going to guess that Trump was gullible, DeSantis caved to fear and Carlson was just plain scared.
@SSMTwitEgg2 @phweber1 @mtgreenee Do it like masks? No. But, there are things I do because I live in a civilized society, and I care about people in my community. Do I wear a tank-top to church, fart loudly in a restaurant, get black out drunk in Chuck e Cheese? No. Do I resist masking despite posted rules? No.
@SSMTwitEgg2 @phweber1 @mtgreenee Personally, when I mask up, it’s not blindly following the CDC, it’s respecting the rules of the businesses I’m in, following my doctor’s recommendations, and showing my fellow Americans, especially those at high risk, that I care. Since when are these bad things in the USA?
@SSMTwitEgg2 @phweber1 @mtgreenee I suspect you agree that it makes good policy to require people to wear clothes in a restaurant. And you agree to all is the ridiculous examples I used above. So, we both agree freedoms sometimes must succumb to public health. Does that make us commie boot lickers?
@SSMTwitEgg2 @phweber1 @mtgreenee Nobody said anything about bootlicking the government’s boots. There is a middle ground. That’s how good policy is made. You and I both know that in a civilized society, we all must give up freedoms to keep society safe, hence the “horrible comparisons.”
