On this Labor Day weekend, with Hollywood still shut down & anxiety levels high, I’m choosing to focus on the positive. Now, I’m not normally a feel-good story guy, but I was struck this week by the sheer volume of generosity that has poured forth during the course of the strike.
NEW: The NLRB could soon make it much easier for workers to unionize.
The board plans to re-establish “Joy Silk,” forcing employers to recognize and bargain with any union supported by a majority of workers. Unions wouldn’t need to win formal elections.
